After this, Mata Durga was given probably the most highly effective weapon and waged war with the demon Durgam. Through which Mata killed the demon and after this Durgashtami was born.

The weapons of Mata Durga are worshiped on Durga Ashtami. People observing this day quick in the morning and worship Goddess Durga. Red flowers, red sandalwood, lamps, incense and many others. are used in the worship of Mother.

On the monthly Durga Ashtami,  cardamom, dry fruits, pink flowers, bananas, coconut, betel leaves, cloves, and many others. are offered to the mother in the type of prasad. Panchamrit is offered to the mother with this.

This panchamrit is made by mixing cow's ghee,  yogurt, milk, honey, and sugar. After this, the mantra is chanted by lighting a lamp.
