While offering flowers, take the name of God Shiva, or Vishnu. You also need to make a Shadopchar Puja or give 16 kinds of offerings to God. After this, offer Arti and quit Kartik Puja Vidhi., In prayer pray for happiness and prosperity. You can donate containers, clothes, food, and money to the poor. At night, you dedicate Arghya to the moon and pray with your hands together.
